What is Munshiji?
A place to run your shop or business: billing, books, stock, POS, reports and tasks, in the browser on your PC or phone. Ask Munshiji, the AI helper, is in Beta. It answers from your own books and prepares work, and you decide.
Does it replace Tally?
No. If you and your CA like Tally, stay on it. Bridge, a small Windows app on your Tally PC, reads the data and you see it in Munshiji. No Tally? Billing and books run directly in Munshiji. Munshiji is not affiliated with Tally Solutions.
Does it write to Tally?
Not yet. Today Bridge only reads from Tally. An entry made in Munshiji does not reach Tally on its own. Writing back is Coming.
Does it file GST?
No. Munshiji makes GST reports from your bills. You or your CA file them. A direct filing connection is Coming.
Do I need Tally?
No. Billing and books run directly in Munshiji. If you use Tally, the Bridge app goes on a Windows PC and reads your data, and our team helps with setup. Writing back to Tally is still Coming.
What about refunds?
Refund terms are shown before you pay. If you change your mind before paying, just tell us. It costs nothing.
When do the Coming features arrive?
Each Coming feature’s target date is told to you before you pay. Please decide on what is Live today.
How safe is my data?
What exists today and what is on the way are both listed in the Trust section. Hosting in India and outside security testing are still Coming, so please do not count on them yet.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, in your phone’s browser. The signed mobile app is still Coming.
Where does my CA fit in?
Munshiji is built for your business. Your CA can work alongside you through the CA workspace, which is by invitation for now.
Do I pay when I pre-book?
No payment now. You pay within 7 days of getting your link, at your tier’s price, plus 18% GST.
