Delete your Munshiji account

From the app

  1. Open Munshiji and sign in.
  2. Tap More, then Profile & workspace.
  3. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

Your request is saved at once. You can cancel it from the same screen for 7 days.

Without the app

Write to hello@munshiji.in from the email address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm it is you before we act.

What happens next

  • Day 0: we log your request and confirm it.
  • Days 1 to 7: a cooling period. Nothing is deleted, and you can cancel.
  • After day 7: we delete your login and personal details (name, email, phone, sign-in and two-step settings), or anonymise them where a record must stay linked to a past action.

What we have to keep

Invoices, books of account and GST records belong to the business, not to one login, and Indian tax law requires them to be kept for at least 8 years. If you are the only owner and want the whole business closed, say so in your email; we will export its data for you first and delete what the law allows. If you are one of several people in a business, deleting your login does not delete the business.
